Crescent moon,
Across oceans.
Discovery
Swift lightning.
Rushing earth
under our legs.
Words carried
by waves...
Flesh becomes spirit.
Mourning
I call you from your sleep.
Your beautiful voice
distinct in the darkness,
answers.
Widowed
Here I sit, alone,
typing out poems,
thinking of you smiling...
